Okay, so I ordered a replacement driver for the factory subwoofer. Well, I've taken the unit out of the car. It looks like some doof cut the port tube off of the enclosure. Question, how long is this tube suppose to be?

I've been using a Bazooka EL-304, but for trips I suppose a girlfriend would appreciate the leg room.

The port tube is not up in the dash. I can see the saw marks on the enclosure. I'm going to replace the tube with a piece of PVC. It would just be nice to know the length of the port tube. Suppose I can estimate from the picture posted.

can anyone post a picture of a factory sub with the dash in? I'm thinking of putting a sub in mine (w/o sub) and thinking about in stock location.

mindscape, the tube is 9 3/4" long by 2 1/4" tall and 1 1/2" in diameter.

The saw marks you see are normal, its where they cut open the sub box after it was blow molded, the tube just snaps over the protrusion.

I'm sure a piece of pvc pipe will work OK.
