Ok well maybe ignition problems, maybe not. The deal is the 2.5L drives fine cold, then when it warms up and your doing anything over 60 and/or 3500 RPM the motor starts cutting and you stall out till under 3000 rpm then it kicks back in. Whenever it stalls out it starts backfiring and lurching. once it starts it'll do it anytime you apply more gas. (if you start going up hill and need more gas it'll start acting up. If you try to speed up it'll start)

Any Ideas??? we replaced the O2 sensor because it was triggering the check engine code and it kinda helped some, funny thing is so does turning on the A/C... not completely fix but it helps the problem... I think I'm lost.. or my car is mad at me... or both..

Sounds like plug wires or possibly plugs or dist cap if you have that kind of system. If you have the distributorless kind of ign. it could also be a bad coil, but still sounds more like plug wires.

that was my first thought. so I ran a connection check and a did a coil test.. everything is working fine there. plugs/wires/distr/coil.. everything checks. (and shocks the livin @#$% outta ya too ) And like I said, we replaced the O2 sensor and it now starts acting up a little higher in the rpms (3500-4000) plus if you run the A/C it'll take longer for it to start acting up also.... grrrr just getting pissed. good thing my roomie has it at the shop today t diagnose it. maybe that'll tell us.. just wanted some Fellow Fiero owners 2 cents worth
