I was looking at new wheels and one place claimed 14x6 was stock and another claimed 15x7 were.

Which is it? I was looking at some 205/60-15s

Thanks

The '85 GT came with the standard 14" hi-tech alloys used on almost all notchbacks.

The 15" wheels were exclusive to fastback GT's ('86-'88).

The 85 GT came with 14x6 wheels.
The 86-87 GT came with 15x7.
FWIW, the 88 GT came with 15x6 front, 15x7 rear. (Suspension was redesigned for 88.)
Lots of folks retrofit the 15x7s to the 85 GT, though.

Guys, check your manual.

14x7"

(w/215/60-14 tires)

The later cars came with 15x7" wheels and 215/60-15 tires.

It's a weird size, to be sure, but that's what we have.
