Anyone have Monroe Sensa-Trac shocks on thier car. How do you like them. I just bought lowering springs and want to fix up the suspension a bit. I have found KYB's for $88 CDN each but Canadian Tire has the monroe on sale for $30 each.

My coupe has Monroe shocks on it. If your have old, worn out stock shocks on your car, they will be a huge improvement in all ways. If you are looking for a stiff sports car spring, you may want to take a look at Koni's or KYB.

The sena tracs on the front of my Formula are the ones used for the Buick GN - 1/4 bigger bore than the regular replacement for the Fiero - and they are softer than the factory struts in back. I also had them on my '87 and found them too soft there too. If you are looking for tighter handling, go with the KYB's.

I have Eibach lowering springs and from what people are saying in the archives they are really stiff. I thought by going with a softer shock like the sensa trac that i could balance the ride somewhat.

They are alright. But for $30/corner, what are you expecting?

Thanks for the input thus far. I am leaning towards picking them up on the weekend.

I was considereing them, but www.shox.com told me they were garbage.

Yeah, he's trying to sell more expensive ones, but at the same time...who know.

Just thought I'd pass that on.

Best of luck, let us know what you decide, and how you like it.
