I have a Optima Deep Cycle Yellow Top battery in my 88GT that is finally crapping out. Is there a chain that carries Optima, or a good internet site to buy a replacement?
The one I have is at least 4.5 years old, and the car sits a lot....I am amazed that it has held a charge as long as it has.

My yellow top lasted 3 months.
Not happy.

Went through 2 red tops(second one was my fault-just sat forever)

I always buy the cheapest I can find with the correct cranking amps. They all die in 3 or 4 years anyway. My 4, $40 batteries will last 15 or 16 years, your $150 will be kaput in 4 at the most.......simple math for me.

Interstate batteries carries the optima. I like the redtop:

This is the new smaller version of the redtop thal allows you to still use your battery shield.

It was $119 at interstate batteries. Well worth it, to keep the acid of my tray.

Bought my Optima Red Top of E-Bay just last
weekend.

$69.00 plus shipping
If you still need one check there, might be worth a look.

Tina
BTW They had Yellow Top's there as well
