Swapping over to an auto. is a very involved process......it's more than just installing teh tranny. You'll have wiring issues, ECM issues, radiator issues, etc.
I am looking to get $50 for the Isuzu 5-sp. that I have. That includes the tranny and the brackets. I can get some cables and a used slave for you, but they will be extra (have to snag them from a junkyard).
The Isuzu swap is straight forward......just install it and you're done. Obviously you should do a clutch job at this time, so factor that in.
LMK if you are interested and we'll work things out.

I'm not sure about the clutch......it may work. If it shows any signs of wear I would replace it. Since the tranny will be out it is the ideal time to do a clutch job and it will save you the hassle of doing it again in the near future. I might have a decent used clutch from an Isuzu somewhere, so I can throw that in too, if you want it.
I actually have a slave cylinder (used) that I will include in the $50 price. I can't guarantee that it will work or how long it will last, but at least you will have one (your '84s slave is different).
The cables will be whatever I have to pay the junkyard for them, but probably less than $20 for the pair.
LMK if you are interested.

The slave cylinder on your '84 will not work with the Isuzu (or any other) tranny. It is an '84 only design.
Yes, it will bolt up to a 3.1 (as well as a 2.8, 3.4, etc.). It has the same bolt pattern as all other Fiero trannies (all Fiero trannies are interchangeable).

hes rite about switching to auto from a stick. That what I wanted to do. It takes the complete dash wiring harness from an auto for just starters. My estimate for a new crate auto installed was over $5,000. If you want an auto, do what I did and just search for an auto car to start with.
