I weighed mine on a good scale. First off it is an 87 coupe in which I installed a 2.8 from a 85 se. Its an auto car, and I took out all the ac equipment. It weighed 2850 with me and I weigh 205.

My 87 GT w/auto and 1/2 tank of gas weighed 2820 on certified scales.

My 86 GT w/5 speed and NOTHING stock on it ... i.e. it was my 308 kit car was 2800 w/ 1/2 tank of gas.

Both were weighed the same day without anyone in it.

Paul

My '84 weighs 2350lbs. Of course, the interior just has a skeleton dash, and one aluminum seat on the driver's side.

anyone checked theirs with a decent stereo in it? not a big one, but a compleat one. like maybe a 10" sub added, better fronts, good sized amp or two (i guess if you were considering weight maybe a good multichannel) and maybe an eq or x-over?

or someone who's added irm rocker scoops or spoilers, hood and/or trunk scoops, bigger wheels, etc? i'm just wondering how that type of stuff adds up.

Presumabely it all adds up the same way they add up when weighed individually, and added with a calculator

Best!
Ben.
