Hello, thanks for reading my post, i am having trouble with my car for a long time i have been getting 11-13 miles per gallon and it never had any power, and its been sitting in my garage with a bad alternator, got that fixed and it smoked a little then a lot but after i ran it for 20 minutes it stoped, it has done this before a couple of times but always stopped, the smoke is blue-white but when i put a rag to it, it doesnt leave oil stains and when i changed the plugs they looked they had carbon on them so could i be running rich or not it smokes a ton right now and im not sure why, you guyses help would be greatly appreciated i dont have any money for a mechanic to fix because i work at a car wash and im only 16, unless someone wants to come help me. , i will be doing this mostly on my own. Sounds like it's smoking alot. You have it inside or outside. Sounds like one of two things have happened to me. 1) You washed the cylinders dry with all that overrich mixture and wore out the rings. 2) You blew a cylinder head gasket and it is white steam, not smoke and that would account for why no oil residue on the cloth. More info would help. What does the smoke smell like. Does the car get low on coolant?

Maybe the oxygen sensor or the coolant temp sensor for the ECM. If either one of these fail the car will run rich.

Depending on how long it sat in your garage, the gas may have gone bad. mine smoked a lot until I burned that up after storage.

It sounds like that is not the only problem, but it may be contributing. I'd dump some gas treatment in it just to help it burn the gas up. If it has been there more than a few months.

it has sat for 2 months in my garage without being run, the smoke smells "fumy" its a real nasty smell i got codes 33 34 35, and i still dont know whats wrong i ran all the old gas and it still smokes. Any More ideas Randy
