If you are talking about the oil seal at the base of the distributor shaft where it goes into the engine, I can tell you that the Fiero store has them. Their web site is www.fierostore.com Look under "ignition" hope this helps.

Fiero Store? This is such a common part, you can probably get it at your local parts store.

It's easy to replace. Just pop the distributor out (after marking it appropriately so the timing is restored to normal), and break the old O-ring off. It is probably brittle enough that it is hardened like plastic by now. Then carefully roll the new one over the drive gear and into the CORRECT groove. Re-install the distributor and check your timing if you can.

No more oil leak (from here at least).

The O-ring is a common part, try NAPA or the local dealer. I paid NAPA about a buck the last time I changed mine. Or you could take the nice guy at West Coast up on his offer.

I agree with 2birds except I would like to add that it's a good idea to clean the grunge from around the O-ring groove and the distributor bore in the intake manifold. Leaving this goop around the seal may cause it to leak or fail prematurely.

You might want to consider replacing your pickup coil $7-17 part since your going to have to pull the distributor In order to replace the O-ring. Its worth the extra time and effort to replace this part while your doing the O-ring, because when it fails the car DIES!. Use some fine steel wool to throughly clean the entire distibutor plate shaft ect. Also you should make sure the breather holes are clean and prelube everthing before re-installing.

WHEW!

Take it easy

Definatly replace your pickup coil while you have the dist off. Easy to do. And to avoid damaging the new o-ring, wrap the drive gear in electrical tape.

Or just replace the o-ring while the drive gear is off from replacing the pickup coil
