Is it possible to get the rounded Taillights onto an 85GT while keeping a Notchback design?

these are not that great, car goes in the garage under the knife dec 1 the 17" are off being painted for the caddy car, paint is bad ect ect..

the caddy car no 17" s yet tho

Jimmy, how much work was it to get those fastback taillights into the notchback? How did you do it?

really not that much work. first i just cut the rear quaters off and then ground the quaters about 6" to foot back and then made a shapped template to lay inside the quaters to hold the fiberglas in place whil it set up.

Then i cut the quaters to length and started shaping them. Once that wa done i fitted the tails in. had to make a new mounting bracket to hold them into place.

Than it was onto extending the trunk and fitting that.

i did this car about 6 years ago and the quaters havent cracked yet. i usually keep the trunk closed at car shows 'cause it dosn't look too pretty in there. Will take some pics today and post them.

Really slick cars, I also like the clear taillights!! If I get Fiero number two in january, I may do something like that to it.

OK guys here are a few pics of the inside of the trunk. Carfull thay arn't too pretty, i may try to finish up this winter if time permits.


Thats about as good as ican show it.
