great! but there is no numver with WA_ _ _ _ on the left front fender. there is a white lable with a jillion other numbers and a aluminum plaque in front of the fender but no WA number. any other ideas? white 84 2m4

WA-40 find them all at this site in the Technical Database under Paint codes. http://www.fiero.mn.org/

its the last number, its either at the end of list or at the very bottom edge. All GM cars/trucks have it since late 70s. Always 4 digits preceded by WA. Thats what body shops use for finding colors. Alternate is if you have the stamped metal plate, it will normally be a 2 digit number with a 'U' or 'L' (for upper and lower color)
*special note too, if for example plate has 40U, be aware that there may be several different shades of that color avail from GM, so may not match. WA# is specific for that car.
