My 86 didn't come with any aux. gauges (don't know if it was supposed to) - is it possible for me to hook up a set of aftermarket oilpressure, etc... gauges?

Yes. (This is what I'm doing. Aftermarket volts and oil pressure.) I'm going to run all new wiring as you need both a new oil pressure sending unit to run the new oil pressure gauge and the OEM one to control the fuel pump. I believe all of the '86s with the V6 have the connection for aux gauges. If your interior is stock, I'd just add the OEM gauges. You'll need the aux gauges, wiring harness and the HVAC/stereo surround that's cut out for the gauges. Other than that, it's a plug n play. You will have to make a cut to the top of the vent portion of the dash for the wiring harness. If you decide to go this route and have any questions, email me.
