20 min's and you bumped?! Sheesh....

Anyhow - they're no harder than a chevette on the front (basic tools), and just a hair harder on the rear since you need to rotate the piston to get it to retract. Make sure you have Torx socket bits on hand in the correct sizes (T-40,T-45,T-47, T-50 come to mind).

This is also the point where you get to find out if you have any seized calipers (gag). The fronts are cheap enough, the backs are pretty pricey (due to the E-brake mechanism).

Read Ogre's statements from his cave at the top of this page BEFORE you do anything!

Then, have at it>

Do NOT rotate the pistons! Follow the advice given by John F. It will do you good!

Typing bump or anything else for that matter, brings the post to the top of the listings.

it's about an hour job, replacing everything from the hard lines out. hoses, calipers, discs, pads, all the way 'round. plus time to bleed them and adjust pedal.
