When ever I hit my horn I hear a click from my passenger dashboard area - no horn, just some clicks... does this mean a short, a loose connection, or what? Thanks, Ari

My Fiero does the exact same thing! A while back the fan stopped working, so it was wired up different in the fuse box to make it run whenever the key was on, but then the horn stopped working
For some reason a while ago we disconnected the shortcut for the fan, and the horn worked again, but just a while ago, it stopped working again. Just makes a clicking sound

Check your horn fuse. It also runs the cigar lighter and radio clock. If the relay is "buzzing" instead of a single click, it's likely your fuse is blown. That's how mine acted when it blew.

One day, one of my Fieros did the "click but no honk" thing you describe. In my case, it was the horn relay that needed fixing. The horn relay simply plugs into the "convenience center" located up under the dash, on the passenger side (it's the same convenience center where the chime box plugs in).
The horn relay is white plastic, if I remember correctly. If you place your finger on the relay while you operate the horn button (off and on), you'll be able to feel that's where the clicking is coming from.
I pulled the relay out, and carefully removed its white plastic (translucent) case. I found that the contacts were not aligned. So, a little gentle bending (with needle nose pliers) was applied, until the contacts lined up. Snapped the cover back on the relay, plugged it back into the "convenience center," and now the horn works great. No-cost fix! Hopefully, you'll be as lucky
I hate to tell you.... After the relay,,, first thing to check with intermitant horn problems in Fiero is the horn(s). The mounting location leaves them really exposed to weather and high water. Water eventually gets inside and craps up the contacts in there. It's not uncommon for one or both to be bad.

My center console on my 84 is always clicking! Every time you hit the brakes, you can hear it click, the horn, the signals, everything makes it click. Just another loveable Fiero Characteristic.

mine has the faint click too, but its coming thru speakers, cause it dont do it with radio off. Happens whenever something elec turns on, brake lite, wipers, etc
Clicking thru the radio is likely just electrical noise. Check over the battery cables and ground straps. (Wire sevice article in my cave) That may reduce it or eliminate it. A power filter for the radio may or maynot help...

The 84 have the relays for the brake lights and flashers mounted in the engine compartment just about ear level to the seat so you can hear them real nice inside the car.
