It is activated by the same ground that activates the radiator fan which comes from the coolant temp switch, a/c hi pressure switch, and/or turning the a/c on.

Went out and turn on the a/c and both the rad fan and the engine bay fan came on as it is suppose to. THANKS for you help!!!!!! I continue to learn more and more about this auto!!!! Is there any reason why some one would want the engine bay fan not to turn on?? This one was disconnected/unplugged, when you helped me find it. Thanks again!!!!

Yes, Pike, you have one. It is located behind the carpet inside the right side of the trunk. It turns on when the radiator fan comes on and blows (sometimes) air out of the two pipes mounted on the front side of the trunk wall to cool the coil and the alternator.
Now this bring up another question, the rad. fan does not come on till temp is over 235, if the cooling system is working fine, the temp will never get that high, so the engine bay fan will never come on, is this correct?? Even though the engine bay may see temp. that would benifit from the engine fan being turned on, so does this mean that a manual switch woudl be good, and or a lower temp switch be added for both fans?????
In my cave, Read the heat management and under the engine menu, fan stuff. This will give you some ideas how to better utilize the V6 auxilary fan. Running the fan more may reduce the ignition problems that plague the V6.
