Has anyone else heard of this? I was considering the Audi TT or even the Isuzu but some else said they hear the Harley cap fits better. Any idea which Harley it is?

I've never measured a Harley door assembly... I've got the parts for the Izuzu- should work well (will have to open the circle a little). I checked on the Audi TT- $300+ for the door assembly, I paid about $75-80 for the Izuzu model. I also suggested someone check on the new Eclipse, but I've never had a chance to check one out myself.

late 60's-early 70's mopars had a flip open cap on Chargers, Challengers, Cudas that was real ez to adapt to most cars. I had one on a Dodge van. Only requires 3 or 4 screws, chrome, some said 'Fuel' on them.Self sealing, needed no other cap.

Has anyone (Rodney) thought about making a high quality decal for gas cap cover? Something could be made that looks like brushed aluminum with allen heads or rivets.

Wouldn't be much worth us making a sticker-type... import shops already have (as do many regular parts stores). Doni is going to pick one up for me as well (he's got one on his car already) at least until my real one is ready.

This was his origional thread: https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum1/HTML/010559.html
