Have 2 questions.
1. We just changed the o-2 sensor in late june-early july after getting a code44 and bad idle/performance. It ran fine afterwards. Yesterday, got a '44' again and idle all over the place with sluggish acceleration. Haven't had time to check it out much, but what else will give that code?
'84 4cyl, bosch 02 sensor, Thanks in advance

2. Also have another agravating problem. When the car has been driven for a while, it refuses to start if it sits more than 10-15 minutes. It will start fine after sitting for 30 minutes but not before. It turns over fine, just won't start. It has spark at the plugs. I've looked down the tbi, and no fuel is being injected. If I pour a little gas down the throttle body, it starts fine. I thought I had this fixed by insulating the line from the tbi back to the filter, but it has started giving problems again. I did a search and noticed standard had the same problem back in 4-1999, it was discussed extensivly, but no final cure or cause was posted. Anybody know what happened with his problem?

Got your email

Never really solved the problem, I just lived with it until I got the GT. More than likely it was one of the ignition components on mine, I would get fuel but never checked to see if I would get spark.

If you're not getting fuel, could be a faulty injector, or wiring. Maybe the fuel pump or fuel pump relay.

This is just one of those aggravating problems that's tough to diagnose..
