I just ordered a set of 1/4 window turbo scoops for my 86 GT. Does anyone know if the black ones would look good by themselves until i can get the car painted, or should i just wait and get it painted. Also, how hard is it to install them?

When I bought my Fiero, it had a set of quarter window scoops installed. I don't know if they are from the Fiero Store, but they have the original black coloring to them and they look alright on the car. Personaly I wouldn't have paid to have them on my car, but you might like them.
I didn't install them on my car, but the guy who sold me the car said that they just glue on. He also said that they didn't stick very well the first time and he bought some better glue and stuck them back on.

What color is your car? Mines red, think the black would look ok? my ground effects and trim are black, so the added black might look good

My car is red also. I think the black looks good. I've seen body color scoops and didn't really like the look. It just makes everything in the back half of the car blend together. (Black on black is the exception.)

Ok, thats what i was looking for. I dont think the black would look bad, since the regular 1/4 windows are black in the first place.
