if you put a sub in the center console, like in AusFiero's design, do you have to move the ECM? Because of the subs magnet magnetically affecting it? And also for space?

Aus's design is built so you don't have to move the ECM. Do a search under his name and sub system or console or something. There was discussion about this at the time he introduced them.. Personally, I don't know anything about it so I can't help much. hehe

Aus' sub box has been in my car for about a month and I haven't had any problems so far (and don't expect any). My car is a daily driver so anything that might happen regarding that would have by now, I'm sure.

I am going to redo my own center console. Just move the computer off to the side. I'm going to strengthen and extend the rear of the console with a fiberglass add on and use a Kicker Solobaric. Geesh---their square now. I used to do alot of custom audio installs, but I've been out of the game for about 8 years, wow have things changed.
