I did a search and came up with links to remove and re-install. They use 3m double sided tape.

My question. For those who have used double sided tape. Does it work well? Does it sit out properly or is it sitting in too far?

I used butal tape (designed for windshields) but after 2-3 months the windows just pulled away. And it was thoroughly cleaned.

What have others used successfully?????

3M double sided tape works fine. If you are worried that the kind you get at the auto parts store might not stick well enough, then go to a sign supply store and get the thickkind that has the red backing. It'll hold forever.
