Factory radio with equilizer ? by fierohoho

My '84 has the factory AM/FM Cassette with the graphic equalizer, my question is, all the lights work to iluminate the radio except the equalizer. Does the equalizer have a bulb the lights it up or is it uniluminated, I'd like to know before I tear the radio out. Thanks.
