Well it's getting hot and I was trying to hold off until I finished an engine swap to have AC. I now realize that I am at the mercy of the machine shops, and has slowed my project down by a lot. So now I want to fix my ac in my 86 GT.

The question is, what cars use the same compressor as the Fiero? I don't want to spend a lot of money since by this fall the whole thing will be out again. I'm looking to run 134A in the system. Any suggestions? I know the AC question has come up a lot and I have done searches, but can't find any refference to what other cars use the same compressor. By the way, my compressor is seized up and has not been ran in who knows how many years. There is also no pressure left in the system.

Most GM product in the 80's used that compressor. The other main one is the "V5" and you will know the diferance between them right away.

Most good parts yards have an interchange book that will tell what cars have what...
