ok..well im on my 2nd temp gauge...and it worked for a wile than one day..got in started up..and it did the normal pegging..and didn't come back down to 0 like normal..it went right below the little temp gauge symobl. thats not it..when i drive it works its way back down to 0..so do you think my temp gauge needle isnt align?
PS I put in my old temp gauge from my 85 cluster and it worked.
hehe I wish spell check worked for me I also spelt gauge wrong in the topic

Why don't you try a search in the archives? Just kidding, man. Actually, my brother had a problem kinda similar to yours. His stayed at 35 when driving, but sank down to 10 when at idle. Turns out it was a sender. Now it's back to normal. Might be a sender for yours, but I'm not sure. I'm sure you probably thought of that anyway. Well, at least I bumped it to the top! Have a good one!

THANKS puff, but what is so werid is that my gauge works great if I put my old temp gauge in. ::sigh::, Now my goal is to get a new slave clyinder..junkyards didn't have any..
