Like the subj line says I just got in my "new" 88 rear swaybar. I got all the parts except the endlinks. I was going to go to "PEP BOYS" and get a set, does anyone know what size (length) I need. I doubt they have stock replacement type, but I know they have aftermarket.

Thanks

Rob

I bought polyurethane end-links from the fierostore and cut them to the length of my originals. I'll measure them tomorrow and post it for you.

Yeah you will HAVE to cut them to the original length or use the old "sleeves". There is no way you are fitting the ones the Fiero Store gives you in there.

I am amazed that you would actually have to cut a brand new part advertised to fit an 88 Fiero by a company that supposedly "specializes" in Fiero parts. What kind of business practice is that??

I got my endlinks from suspension.com. I didn't need to cut anything. The new sleeves are just a little shorter than the originals. Not by much though. The originals measured about 2 1/4". Worked out pretty good.

I bought front and rear bar endlinks from PepBoys, were $15/pair. Or, you can buy the same from AutoZone for $10/pair.

'Tis my understanding that the length of the end links should be set so that the sway bar arms are parallel to the ground when the vehicle is setting on the suspension. Don't forget to get your brackets.

My rear anti-sway bar end links measure 2-1/4 inches on my 88 Formula.
