I'm looking to get a starter heat shield for my coupe with the Iron Duke. Does anyone make a preformed steel shield? Or is my only option that aluminum coated fiberglass wrap stuff that is held on with straps?

Ken,
Summit makes the stuff for you.. I think its the same thing you mentioned... the aluminum coated fiberglass... I bet that would work best because then you can double wrap it for extra heatproofiness (yes i make-up my own words) If you lay it right and hit it up with those really big clamps that are similar to the hlf shaft clamps it could look really good too!

JC Whitney has preformed starter and solenoid heat shields for GM starters. I believe that the price would be about $50 for both.
