I did a bunch of searches and found some pretty good info. I ended up ordering a MSD blaster coil ($45 inc. shipping from Summit) and am planning to eventually get a MSD 6 controller to go with it (approx. $130-$170). There have been a few questions about this lately, but no one seems to be forthcoming with any specific answers.

What kind of motor do you have? And what year?
For the 4cyl, they're all pretty easy. 3 bolts that are in a little if a tight spot, and the coil comes right out.
As for the 6's, I haven't worked on one so I'm not sure, but I imagine it being similar.

I used the MSD as well. Just plugged into the factory harness. How much more will you get if you install a 6AL with it?
