I've gone from silver/grey to tan on some Grand-Am seats I had in a pickup truck. It worked very well ecxept that the dye doesn't change the color of the vynil piping very well. I dismantled the seats and removed the covers, then used like three boxes of RIT fabric dye (available at K-Mart or any fabric outlet) in a big wash tub sink. Follow the directions on the box. I was very pleased with mine, they still looked great after five years when I sold the truck.
