This is for all of the 3800 SC'swho have sufficent knowledge of this motor. Can you turn a 1990 3800 into a 3800 SC?

Yes and no. You can, but the cost will exceed the cost of getting one from a wrecker in the end. The intake, injectors, TB, accessory brackets, blower, fuel rail, wiring, ECM, not to mention the crank and balance/pulley. It just keeps adding up.

Terry,

So it is not just an easy switch to a SC. I was hoping it was a simple intake removal and insert the SC intake. What else could I do to this motor to get mor horses

Turbo or NOS, or the standard balance/port/polish, cam, mill the heads to about 9.5:1.

After that, not much.

No, the SC doesn't just bolt on.
