Well I got the car back from the shop and the timming is perfect and the power is finally back. Now when I hit the gas going about 70ish clouds of smoke comes out the exhaust. So anyone have any clues what this is now?? I am still thinking of trading it or selling it :-)
Thanks Ken

Well damn Ken. I think you're having more problems that me. A head gasket doesn't really sound right. What color smoke is it? Or can you tell? And can you only see smoke when you're going 70?

I would say keep a close eye on your oil level. But you did say it looked white...hmm...I'm not really sure. But at least this puts it back on top. Maybe someone else will know. I do know that selling it will not solve your problem though. You would regret selling it.
I just changed the oil and filter. The oil level and coolant level is correct. Squach I don't really want to sell it. I would rather trade for a notchback instead with an auto V6. I can't see myslef paying for my Fiero when I can't even drive it and it is nearly summer.
Thanks Ken

Dude, ever since you squirted paint on that thing you've had nothing but problems out of it...sell it.......... I know exactly what you're going through. Ever since I "finished" redoing my Formula, including paint, the thing hasn't run right since! Its always something............man, Im sick to death of that car! So I'm in the same boat dude. M7F
I keep saying that since I made it yellow I turned it into a lemmon car. I love this car to death and you cant notice the smoke at all till I nail the gas going around 70. If not the car runs great. Thanks for the help thus far.

perhaps you should do a cylinder leakdown test....perhaps you just have a bad valve seal...does it smoke when you first start it? in my opinion it's probally not the head gasket...you would experience some power loss if it was

The engine is from a 95 Camaro. It has 54,000 on it. It never smoked before the timming went out. Also it does not smoke on start up. Only when I nial the gas going about 70 or so. Could it be my Cat?? My engine does seem to run a lot hotter than it used to. I hate to sell her, but if it isnt an easy fix then she is gone. Thanks for the help thus far.
Thanks Ken

Sticky valve? EFI problem, with injectors sticking open, and burning too much gas? Bad cat? Starting Inj stuck open? Left your nitrous on? That sucks ass.

Hey Ken! White smoke? Running hot? Not consuming coolant or oil? Plugged converter, cut it out and put in a straight pipe... Or put up with the smoke screen till it burns it's self out... crash...
