My headlight motor wont stop even when car is turned off.I am ordering a kit from Rodneys. Question is there a way to disconnect the motor so I can still use lights without headlight motor running?

Just unplug the wires to the headlight motor after the headlight is up. It'll stay up and you can use the light then.

Yes there is there is a 3 wire black square conecter hooked into a relay by the head light assembly aslo a tubular black connector this one controls the motor in the down postion disconect them both if the motor does not stop spining it means the gears are striped which is very common because they are made of plastic

When you go to rebuild them, You can also turn the gear inside around. The headlight motors only use 1/2 the gear so if the gear is stripped on one side you can use the other.
