My dad's 1984 4cyl auto is idling at 2500 rpm. We don't have the manual yet, can someone walk us through how to set it? We're getting no code lights, it just idles really fast which also seems to affect braking performance.

TIA,

Sean

Check your vacuum lines! If one of the lines is not plugged in it can really do a number on your idle!
