What kind of a bulb does the third brake light take?

As far as I know you can't just change the bulb......it's soldered to the socket.

Is yours burnt out?

The Haynes Manual says
that the third brake light bulb is a Quartz Halogen
and to replace it just pop off the housing,disconnect the electrical connector and pull out the bulb.

The buld/socket combo is a GE889. I believe it comes as a unit. That's all I know
