I am thinking about putting 245-60-15's on mine. Does anyone have a picture(s) of their rear tires? I want something beefier looking without changing the rims to 16-17's.

You will hear different opinions on this one. Everyone has their own thoughts on how much "extra" tire you can have hanging over the wheel. Anyway, most people say about a 235. Some say 225. I'd say 245 is the maximum; maybe a little too much. If I were you, which I'm not, I'd stay with the 235 max. That's what I'm going to get. I also like the wide rear tires. I wish I could fit a 275 on there like the 'Vette. Might want to listen to what other people have to say.

I've seen a 245/50/15 on a stock 7" wheel. Thought it was too wide. 60s will be taller, so the angle of the sidewall won't look quite as severe. Your speedometer will read waaayyyyy slow.

I have 225/60/15 on my rears, and I like it. Just enough extra, but not too much. Only 1/2" taller, so my speedometer doesn't really notice it at all. My worn out 2.8 couldn't spin them if it tried, and that's fine with me. If I want to light them up, I get in my wife's T-bird.

I have 245/60-15's on the back of my car. I am using Dunlop GT Qualifiers. Those are inexpensive tires that are fairly good for the money, but are a little bit undersized.
I have about 5/16" clearance between the tire and the spring perch.
The car is an '87 GT; the speedo reads about 5% low.
On the early front suspension, the large scrub radius limits tires size to 235/60-15 with slight rubbing against the plastic wheel well inserts during parking lot manuevers. '88's can take 245/60-15's up front because of the smaller scrub radius.
Remember, Dunlop GT Qualifiers are slightly undersized. Today I saw 245/45-17's (Yokohama A520's) on a 928 Porsche that were so wide they made me feel inadequate, but had the same width spec as my tires.
