I was going into a taco bell and while turning in a corner my car slid and I hit the curb sideways. NOw my car slants to the right while driving it. could it be the allignment? or did I break something? thanks
You can feel the car slanting to the right when you sit in it? How much lower is the right side from the left. I have no idea what could cause that other than a spring popped out.

no. it slants to the right when driving it. The car does feel a tittle bit lower on the front right though. maybe just tire pressure.... no ichecked that already...

Does it slant to the right or pull to the right when you are driving it? If it actually slants, you probably have big suspension problems. If it just pulls, you probably just need an alignment.

sorry it's a pull not a slant. but thanks. I hope there is nothing else wrong with it. I have also noticed that when I slightly turn the steering wheel to the left I hear a light intermitent squeaking from the front left wheel. WHat could this be?

If the car is pre '88, you may want to check the wheel bearings ASAP. Sounds possible that a cage may have broken (some stock ones had plastic cages). Also check the caliper mounting, may be jambed up and no longer square (dragging pads-replace them). Nothing of any big deal if checked in a hurry. Get a new alignment after service if pull remains!

Ha ha!!! I know what you mean. You'd swear they design those drive through lanes for Honda scooters or something. Try driving one of these by the drive up window at Taco Bell sometime.
well as fast as I am the bearing was shot. I lukily have some at home (was planning on replacing them on all 4 wheels already) and I replaced them. I will probably do an alignment tomorrow because the pull is still there and the tiny squeaking in the fron left is not gone yet either. any ideas on what the squeaking might be?

Did you take that side apart too?just inspect it, may be bad grease (cold!) with some moisture in it. May also have dirt, sand or road grime on (or in) the pads (or worn out).

well, I would of checked the grease but the last owner of the car did not put frease in it or very little!!!! I still can't imagine how it was working properly... well another thing I noticed is that the stupid guy had pressed the bearings apparently with an air machine because that is the only way I was able to get them out. grrrr... Did all four wheels and not a single bearing had grease!!! oh well, learn from experiences. by the way... we have a "the clock" restaurant up here in mich and I love it!! I go there for breakfast. (I order the heman breakfast mmm..... ) I still can;t figure out where that squeaking is coming from... any other suggestions? thanks
