My engine is dead. I will be putting in a brand new fresh from the crate engine. Originally it is a 4cyl. auto. I figured if I'm putting a new motor in it I might as well go to a 6 cyl. I've been told the 4 cyl. tranny will bold up to the 6 cyl. and the mounts are the same. Is this true, are there any other swapping details I need to know?

The tranny DOES bolt up. I'm not sure on the engine mounts, but the biggest issue would probably be getting a wiring harness, if that comes with the motor, you're all set.
