I believe that ones for Trans-Ams, and Firebirds for the same time frame will work fine. Look at the junk yard for them, you can usally find them for like $2.00. I heard that some time ago on here. Its not a relay, its an electronic conrol module. Check around at junk yards because the ones for the other cars will be just as much new.

Seanh is right - the 1987-later Fieros and Firebirds use a control module, instead of relays... much better than the old relay system.

BTW, you say there aren't any GTs in your salvage yard. But it doesn't have to be a GT - just 1987 or later. On Fieros, they're tucked inside the LF fender, ahead of the wheelwell, as you probably already know. The ones on Firebirds are on a bracket near the brake master cylinder, and are much easier to get to.

Was it for your 86 GT?? If so thats not the same thing. 84-86 are diffrent than 87-88.

The headlight controller for 87 & up fiero is also used on other GM cars. Specifically the sunbirds with the little half door. The controller is mounted on the left shock tower in the sunbird. (I saw one today. I knew I should have grabbed it.....)
