I am trying to find a cool custom shift knob
for a auto trans 1985 V6. Has anyone made
a upright button shifter such as a Momo ect.
work rather than the ugly side shift button?
Thanks!!!!!!!!!!

any number of aftermarket knobs will work. follow the directions that come with the knob.

Last year I saw someone with a custom auto shifter.. they took a manual shift knob and drilled a hole in the top. then a metal rod was dropped into the hole, to act as a button.. the metal rod was removed when the person got out of the car, so it acted as a security system as well..

(hard to shift if you can't press the button.. hehe)
