Does anyone here know how to move the firewall by chance?? I am doing the sub conversion into the first firewall but am not sure how deep nor how to get it off? Can I just drill out the rivits and then pull it off?? How much room is between the two?? Anyone??

I think you have to cut the hole. The firewall is welded to the car and can't be removed. when you cut watch out the gas tube runs through there.

Use the search engine and look for "firewall subwoofer. There has been lots of discussions about this and you don't get much extra space by cutting. The deepest measurement is 2 1/2"
in perhaps a 6X10" odd shaped hole.

Been here quite a bit actually - just haven't had anything to add lately. Been busy with lots of direct email with questions on my stereo install.
