OK.....I bought a used distributor from a junkyard and decided to tear it apart. It's a pretty simple job to rebuild them, but I am having trouble finding the parts! I can get the module, pick-up coil, reluctor and O ring, but I can't find the bushings anywhere. Even GM doesn't sell them.....does anyone know a source for the shaft bushings? Or will I have to reuse the old ones?
I figured I could rebuild it myself for way less than what they charge for a rebuilt one (around $100).....I guess that's why no one sells the bushings.
