ok men and women, where can you find some good info on tuning the 2.8? advancing timing or some of those FREE type fixes that offer better performance and sometimes horsepower. I use to be a 5.0 mustang guy(got one for sale if someone is looking)
and i could get anywhere from 5 to 10 horses (get it, mustang) just by advancing the timing. for those who do own mustangs, i am typing slow as to not lose you!!! but back to the goods of fiero's, any good tune up/hop ups that are free or low cost, spill um'. cause we are all not loaded and free horsepower is the best type!!!!

Ditch the A.C.?

I just put a chip in mine and do notice some gain, but then that wasn't free. It also helps to keep every speck of extra weight out of the car. (passenger, A.C., spare tire, spare change, pocket lint, etc.)
-Also try driving only downhill.

It's free but a bit of work. Remove the restrictions in the exhaust manifolds-frees up 5-8 hp. Use the search funtion to find the proper threads.
