After installing the new steel clutch pedal, there is a white box with a button that used to press against a part of the pedal that stuck out.. Now they are about an inch apart (I think this might be cruise control, I don't know).. It wouldn't be a problem to fix (could attach a piece of metal to stick out another inch or something) but is this normal?

No one has installed a clutch pedal?

JohnnyK that switch is adjustable, it will go farther into the hole/mount to make contact with the pedal. I think it has a U clip, remove the clip push it in until it makes contact then replace the clip. If I remember that is what I had to do also.

The tab on the pedal may also be bent???

Distance is fine, but it is almost an inch to the left.. I can't bend it? Seems to me that the clutch pedals are the same though
