I was thinking about using Koni adjustable shocks with the Fiero Store 1" springs in the front of my 88GT.

Is anyone using this setup?
Does everything fit together/travel OK?
Do I have to be concerned about alignment/tire wear?

Any other info welcome.

Not on an 88. i've got a full set of Konis and Eibachs on my 86 and haven't had any problems with anything! running -.5* camber in front, -1* camber on the rear. handles GREAT. But before you pay a fortune from the Fiero Store you might want to get in touch with www.shox.com a full set of springs, shocks, struts was $618.

The KONI kit from the Fiero Store is $1000 ($900 with fiero club discount) and includes front and rear heavy duty sway bars.

Minong,
I'm thinking of doing the exact same thing on my Fiero, so I'm very interested in the answers to your questions. I only know that IRM (International Research Motorsports, in Maryland, run by Jim Sutter)had been working on a setup for the '88, but never started marketing this because of the small number of '88's on the market. I was pleasantly surprised to find that since recently the Fiero Store offers the lowering springs, but know of noone who has tried them (yet)..

FYI

Cost for Konis from www.shox.com:

$89.95 each for front
$459 for all 4 corners

They also have the springs, but you have to buy a set of 4.
