I have an automatic, and I have to push the gas pedal ALL the way to the floor before the engine goes to wide-open throttle and the tranny waits to shift until 5500 rpm. I want to make the gas pedal more responsive, so I don't have to push it nearly as far to get WOT. Would adjusting the Throttle-Valve cable accomplish this? If so, where is it located and how do I do it?

its on the thing that says HOLLEY by the big red thing that says fiero. it is on the top of the "holley" thing. there should be a screw to adjust it AND yes it will change your response.

I played with mine to the point that I couldn't push the gas pedal down.

Here in Canada it's illegal to mess with your TV cable...you have to call Rogers Cable LOL!
Sounds to me as if the response you get is as it was designed. WOT is when you have your foot to the floor. The TV cable does, however , control the shift point, which I think is what you are after. My adjuster is broken, so I just pulled out a 1/2" or so of the inner wire, and clamped it in place with the innards of an electrical "Marr" connector. It will take some experimentation to find the correct point.
