this is what i want. is it possible?, any info would be great. BUT it's for an 88 auto! i really don't understand the whole gearing thing other then a higher gear ratio make's you accelrate faster and a lower gear ratio makes you top end crazy. Thanks.

If you want a rear end gear that will let you run in the 3.73's then you will need a bigger motor also.

Generally speaker, 1/4 mile times under 4 seconds require lots of traciton too! bwhahahhaa

thanks smartasses. but back to the question. I will refrase it. IS THERE A WAY TO PUT 3.73 GEARS INTO MY REAR END TO MAKE MY 1/4 MILE TIMES QUICKER??? the gear heads at work say yes but none of them have any experiance working on these cars.
