You have to also take off the door handle and middle molding and the 2 (I am trying to think back) screws under the middle moldings.

Anything else guys?

A small rod runs from the handle to the latch.
There is a clip on the rod at the handle that must be removed. the handle should come off with the outer panel.

Don't forget to remove the plastic rivets under the door. I just drilled mine out and bought new ones through GM. (Real cheap-I'll try to find the invoice/part#) Also, the screw under the moulding (next to the handle) is attached to a roundish plastic piece inside the door (I don't know what the plastic piece is). You may have to hold the plastic piece with your hand to keep it from turning while you unscrew the screw. (I need my medicine.)

Don't take off the exterior handle. just it's linkage.

There are:
7 T30 bolts 3 front 4 rear.
4 rivits in the bottom
1 chrsitmas tree in the trim under the door handle.
2 screws under the trim.
The top is simply hooked into slots. be carefull not to break off the tabs.

The Mirror is held by 2 10mm nuts inside the door. The mirror must be removed. The head for the manual mirror releses from the trim by loosening one hex core set screw.

you must depress the trim latches from inside the door or they will break. even then the latches will likely break off. a glob of silicon on the back will hold them later. You do not need to remove trim aft of the exterior handle. the front trim clip is held by a screw. unsnap the trim from that clip carefully or it will break.

The bottom rivits can be replaced with 1/4 diam screw rivets. screw rivets are re-entrant should you have to do this again ever, but hold very securly. they provide a very good finish.

reinsert the bolt above the top hinge first. it can be a pain if you don't.

SuperX-I can be serious once in a while. This just proves that miracles do happen! I used a cutoff bit in a Dremel to remove the 2-part rivets holding the wondow motors in. Removing the glass is a ***** ! You have to remove the white rollers. I never did figure out how to do that without destroying something.

I removed the white rollers by GENTLY tapping out the rivet pins(I used a nail set) then sending a 1/4" drill through-a little more prodding and the rollers come apart
