Recently undertook to install new shocks & struts on my 88 model. First inst Monroe gasmatics, ride was smooth but car felt vague & floaty, squirrely in S curves. Pulled these off and got KONI struts for rear which am in process of installing. Springs and mounts inst just as before then had difficulty getting the bolts that go thru knuckle to go all way thru. That is there is misalignment of app. .062-.100" that stops the top bolt from coming all the way thru the hole. This is weird as hell as didn't have any problem with Monroes. Starting to wonder if theres a mfg. bugaboo with KONI??
