This is to anyone that has a V-6. The engine vacuum regulator valve is located on the passenger side of the engine directly in front of the water neck. If you are standing on the passenger side of the car in front of the regulator valve, it has two lines that connect to the left side and one line that connects to the right side. I need to know where the single line on the right side connects to. The book doesn't show it, and I can't find anything to hook it to. Thanks in advance - ez.
That line goes to the air filter canister- or rather, the snorkel into it. From the vaccuum solenoid, a rubber tube leads to the firewall, (below and to the left of the right hand hood hinge) and meets with rigid tubing (attached to firewall). The rigid tube travels along the firewall to the air filter snorkel. More rubber hose to a small nipple on the snork.

All right, cool! I found it. However, this brings up one more question. What is the snorkel tube for? It looks like it used to go to the valve cover vent. Maybe a factory recall did some re-plumbing. I never figured that one out when I did the engine rebuild.

I think the tube that he's referring to is the one that used to go to the valve cover. It is attached to the firewall and looks like it's been cut off at both ends. It has been. That the proof that your car has (at least part of) the recall done to it. The recall modified the PCV system by adding that steel tube that goes from the bulkhead side valve cover to the air intake hose in front of the throttle body. Make sure that the pipe in question is open on both ends, if it's not, then cap off the end with something. That's because it will be sucking in unfiltered air thru the tube! Note: only affects some cars, if yours is open on both ends, than it's OK. You can actually remove it if you don't like the sight of it. Just remember to make provisions for the EGR vacuum solenoid line.
