What should be under fire here is how buddy was treated, regardless of if he gave a dollar or not, there was no reason for the comment he got.

But ask yourself, after hearing what he did, would you go back and give a dollar? So why give one in the first place

You wont understand my opinion and it appears the usual crowd agrees with what you did so you should feel safe with going along with majority consensus.

IMHO you could have shot the nappy headed ho, judging by what happened and what was said you more than likely would have gotten away with murder.

Sounded to me like they were targeting you for robbery and made the justification clear for doing so. At that point you had just cause to defend yourself from possible attack.


Like I said above, just act on your conscience leave it at that. No need to get mad about it when you have steel justice in your pocket. Take solace in the fact that you now have the power to call an obvious ****** a ****** and back them words up.

Not all the jobs are taken, either. Check out the 'help wanted' section of your local paper, or places like monster.com. And there is no finite number of jobs, more can be created at any time by having a successful business expand, or a new business created.

I thought it was illegal for people to pan handle...

I thought it was illegal to give money to pan handlers...

Maybe it's a state-by-state thing.

My take on it is that even if the people begging really are in dire staits, our tax money goes to programs to help these people. Instead of giving them money, show them the way to a shelter, etc.
