You know Rick, Just looking over the postings I've come up with the reasons I feel your so upset. First off maybe you thought I had an OEM wheel and was hoping I really didnt know what I had or what is was worth, jumped on it and thats why you didnt asked questions. For someone to be so upset over this tells me your just mad at yourself for misreading the listing. When I look at the listing anyone can read whatever they want into it but I stated this was a replacement wheel that I replaced my worn steering wheel with. At that time you should have asked me if it was an original, and I did have people ask. I said it was used for a 1000 miles and 1 year also it was stored indoors or trailered. Now you took it like it was trailered for 1000 miles, wouldn't that make it zero miles as it would never been driven? You want to know why I wouldn't give you a refund go back to your first few emails to me below .With your Ebay experience I would expect you to ask questions as it clearly states it was a replacement wheel. All I asked was for you to show me where I listed this incorrectly, but you couldn't.


Your first complaint states: Its not new, it's a Camero or Firebird wheel, and the black stitching shows it was recovered and you want a refund...

Your second complaint states: It is not a Fiero wheel and it only had 1000 miles on it and those were trailered you want a refund....

Your third complaint states: Almost new does not mean refurbished, Camaro frame, stitching color...

Your fourth complaint states: Lawyer talk, a redone wheel done wrong, I play a trailer game, then you talk about what I do know about Fiero parts, then brag about your car. Then the talk goes for a long time more in other postings

If you look over your complaints I still dont see where I mislead you. You spend so much time complaining about the wheel but never show me where I listed it incorrectly only what I could have put in the listing. I sold you a used steering wheel that fits a Fiero GT...
Our first few listings below:
I just received the steering wheel and it is not a Fiero nor is it new. There is black stitching showing it was recovered. The back side has indentations for griping and this came on the Camaro or Firebird not the Fiero. I would like to return it for a refund as it is not as described. Please let me know. If you look at what I stated in the listing. I said it's almost new, I bought it to replace my worn steering wheel. This is for a Fiero I bought it from the Fiero Store. I never stated that it was a OEM unit or that it was a new unit. This box I shipped it in was from my new black steering wheel I bought from the Fiero Store that I have on my car now.. I don't see where I did anything wrong to misslead you and don't feel a refund is in order. Thanks

This is not a Fiero wheel and the stiching is black. Please do not make me take this further as you know this is not correct. You were very misleading as it only had 1000 miles on it and those were trailered. I would like a refund please. Please do not make me have to take this further adn be honest. Rick B

By the way Almost New means just that and not refurbished as this is and incorrectly and on a Camaro frame and with the completely incorrect stitching color.. NO FIERO had finger indents on the back side. Rick

Look man I'm not trying to start a war with you. Everything I stated is correct.I bought the steering wheel from the fiero store part number 75003 the car was driven to 3 car shows and was pulled off the road for a ground up restore. The white box is from the new black steering wheel I bought from the Fiero store also, with the part numnber 75006. I'm sorry you were looking for an OEM unit. If you would have asked me I wood have told you it came from the Fiero Store as I did to those who asked me before they bought it. If you look at my feedback I dont play games and list my products correctly. It looks to me you read more into the listing than I had stated. I dont want to have to take this further also but I dont see why I should eat it because you didnt read the listing and ask questions before you bought it. I listed this as a almost new steering wheel for a fiero gt and thats what it is. I bought it to replace my worn unit as stated and thats what I did I bought it from a the fiero store. I also stated it has about 1000 miles on it and its stored and trailered. Now I cant prove it has about 1000 miles on it but I do have a 24' enclosed trailer its stored in and trailered.. I never stated it was anything more.. Now I'm sure we'll see eachother at one of the Fiero events and I dont want bad blood but you make it sound like I was trying to rip you off and thats not true. Maybe you should contact the Fiero store to see if that is the correct wheel they sell for the replacement. I hope we can work this out but you cant push this all on me.

Two totally different things.

Lets set back for a few weeks and see what Pay Pal has to say. I am asking for the 3rd time to do this but feel I should be allow to answer statements like this one.

I will at this point drop out of this conversation as I honestly do not need to defend myself anymore nor play the shell game with you. . The red marker is flying and figure it best to stay away until there is a decision from Pay Pal. Rick

I'm a bigger man I hope at 53 than to be mad at you Rick over a deal that we could not agree on. You were the one that got angry at me with a long dissertation of reasons and assumptions. I simply apologized for my offer as obviously it hit a raw nerve.

I don't have a bone to pick but I really hate to see something like this on the forum as it shows no useful purpose.

Anyway I'm glad we did not come to terms as I decided to use my new Indy leather to recover a set of arm rests and door panels.

Rick, I think you have posted way more on this subject than I have but the way I see it is that when someone states they replaced something that indecatates its a replacement of some kind.. Also you spent a lot of time telling me how much I knew about parts and such as you can see in the postings. Thats all I have to say also.

Edit: I was just reminded that it's easy to forget that we're lucky to have this place and the people who share of themselves here. We may disagree about many different things and how we view what's important to us, but I can honestly say that all that goes out the window when I consider that if ANYONE here was in trouble I wouldn't give a moments hesitation to do what I could to help in any way possible. Sorry for forgetting that.

I have no idea what you are talking about... I didn't assume anything. But apparently you did. That is why you didn't ask questions. And I never said you weren't allowed to assume. You did assume instead of asking questions and now you are mad about your mistake. Assume all you want. Just live with the consequences.

What I did do was state the facts. No, the Fiero store was not posted in the ad and there was no reason it should have been. The reason I mentioned Fiero Store is that they say the wheel is for a Fiero GT and they are the ones that make it. You keep on saying it is not a Fiero steering wheel and even called it a Camaro wheel. I just asked why you keep saying it is not Fiero when it obviously is. You chose to say I was assuming instead of answering. That sort of follows the idea of this thread. You thought people would side with you when you started it but they didn't. Now you have spent a week repeating the same things over and over yet you are not changing anyone's mind. I think you'll find the same outcome with PayPal. You got exactly what the ad said you would get. Do you deserve negatives from people in this thread? No, but you need to listen to the advice you asked for and realize that you should have asked questions before you bid.

True and I hear ya, but what a great show at the Hall. The weather, people oh yes and the cars, all of our beautiful cars. We all spend so much time on them its so nice to see everyone get the praises for them.. I'll be at the MIS and the Fierorama thats about it for this year... Vince
