If you add the left lane's time of 11.294 with the "Right 1st .7851" together, you get a right lane time of 12.0791. A 12.0 quarter mile time isnt bad when it's your first time to the track with a car that has 500HP with a stickshift with who knows what type of tires! Why lie about something like that Tyler? My best time with my car is a 13.9. Had a bad clutch and everything. I'm not going to come onto the forum and lie about it. You can always get better at driving and make the car faster. No point in making yourself look stupid over something like that.

Smoooooth: in case you missed that this was animated, I'm posting it again.

The final numbers are NOT real!!

It was clearly doctored, and you can pull the image up for yourself, check cut the numbers out and they'll match up.

edit: apparently I can't type well tonight and the image didn't show up

Ok Smooth....since you think anyone can make claims on the performance of their cars without really proving it then lets jus say i run 9 sec quarter miles at 150 miles an hour. On street tires...in 100 degre weather...spinning through 1st and second. Oh and while i am at it I lift the front wheels through the 1/8th mile. What don't believe me? TOO BAD!!

We have a duty to point out members when they are obviously not telling the truth. otherwise noone would belive anything written on this forum. You shouldn't be upset with those challanging the claims be upset at GT-X for stated the false claims to begine with.

GT-X could still save face by posting his other slips.

I am saying what I am saying because I have been talking to Tyler in a PM and HE DID RUN a 10.62!! I have seen the REAL SLIP! He does'nt want me to show it, but I did the math and IT'S RIGHT!
Here's a partial quote from his PM!

Yes I did take my car to the track and I did run a 10.62et at 124 mph. but no that isnt my timslip on the thread as a matter of fact its not even a timeslip. I typed it up and added effects to make it look like it came out of recept thing.and yes there are math errors in it i also added them on purpose. I do also have my real timeslip.

Why would anyone in their right mind do what he claims to have done???? Worse yet is that he has not posted the reason he had done so, and the fact that he has gotten pretty upset and deleted his early posts. Something smells very rotten in his methods of communicating!!!

Some other things don't add up either, normally if someone gets some neat toys for their car, they come here to tell people what they purchased. A couple things are very necessary to reach 10's with a Fiero, one heck of a great clutch, drag radials, line lock, and more than one run to dial it all in. I didn't see anything in his posts to support those items. Any Michigan track that I've been to, if you ran below 12 sec., they'd send you packing immediately until your car was equipped with all safety equipment required (hence one of the reasons I never tried to get below 12).

Something just doesn't add up here, and I'm not talking about the numbers on the time slip. He just got this car running, just before the 20th Show this year, It takes time to tune the car in unless you know some kind of great Magic, let alone one big bank account.

i dont wanna come in here and start nothing but im just curiois smooth, how come if he has a real time slip and you have seen it he doesnt want to post it? and why would he purposly make up fake info and post it to be real? why not just post the real info in the firstplace and save from being cought and ragged on to death? you saw his real time slip? or did he go on yahoo and look up ten second cars find a picture of someone elses real time slip and send it to you saying it was his? just wondering whats going on.
